At this age children commonly are starting to enjoy certain tastes over the others therefore it is important to try different foods so that you can find what dishes she likes. You can give her fruits, oats, vegetables, lentils, rice, cereals, soups, yoghurt, cheese and milk. You need to combine various ingredient in one serving so that her meal times are more exciting with more options to eat from. Avoid oil, salt and sugar as these do not add any nutritional value to the food. Give her breakfast, lunch and dinner, as well as three small snacks throughout the day so this way she is always getting something to eat even if she does not finish one meal. The amount of milk she receives are this age is fine, there is no need to give her anymore.
Do not allow her to play or watch television as this will distract her. Also it would be a nice age to start teaching her how to feed herself. She can also sit with the family to eat so that she can see how adults eat and also feel like a part of the family.
You need to approach your child with patience and remember that this is just a phase which will eventually pass.
