My son is two year old but not started talking meaningful words..

He tries to sing some of his favourite songs and says some meaningless words but not that much listening when I talk to him.. he only shouts and points out the objects what he wants.. he can not ask anything through words.. am worried a lot.. is it normal or I have to see my paediatrician?

Don't worry..i have gone through the same and unnecessarily..even my boy was not talking meaningful words except mumma and dadda a month ago.. but suddenly he took a pace and learnt too many things to say.. now he says all colors, numbers, alphabets and vehicles..And even trying to imitate what we talk. Boys take time...i have seen the difference..Let them take their time. Happy parenting 😃

Generally boys will start talking late when compared to girls, my baby is now 2yrs and she started from 1yr. Now she is making sentences also. I saw few boys of same age not yet started talking. So I came to know that boys will start their talking late. :-)

I'm not an expert to say but to my knowledge when your kid is expressing his needs and when they are telling about toilet urge's I think it is the right time. May be at 2 1/2 years
