My sil is unable to express much milk, is it okay to include formula into the baby's diet ? Can formula milk provide enough protection against infections?

Hi give breastmilk exclusively till age of six months after that you can give formula milk and semisolid feed along with the breast milk

For a formula milk that can help fight diseases, it must contain prebiotics like in breast milk. Your doctor can help you choose the best one. Breast milk can never be replaced though.
