It's due to diaper. Avoid diapers till that area is normal.Consult doctor & once it's ok avoid diapers in day time .Buy diapers according to baby's weight & don't use too tight diapers & trousers .Change diapers in 3 or 4 hours.
If it's in the body i suggest you keep the area moisturized use medicated soap like Bioderma Atoderm and apply coconut oil often.
Use rash free cream, always change diapers immediately after soiling ,check frequently, and also check on the size of the diaper. Give diaper free time for 20mts atleast everyday. Use wipes to clean the area every time you change the diaper. Heard good reviews on Allter bamboo made brand diapers and wipes do check
Plz visit pediatricians and apply elocon ointment it will relieve the itchiness and the red patches.

Please do not use diapers till all this is normal. After that always change diapers in every 3-4 hours and try to avoid diapers in daytime. Keep that area dry and clean. Use cotton or wipes to clean. You can apply mamaerth dusting powder. It is talc free so completely safe. It is effective on rashes and boils and reduces the redness and itching very fast and soothes baby. It helps to keep the skin dry. I also uses it for my son.
