My daughter has not yet started talking. She sings numbers alphabets and few rhymes too but doesn't communicate with small sentence nor she addresses me. If she wants anything, she points to that. Should I consult a speech therapist? How to train.

She doesn't require a speech therapist...She needs someone to constantly communicate with her...
If she points to a thing just pretend you are not able to understand and let her take the name..If you give her things easily she won't put efforts to talk.... Appreciate her when she does it...
Engage her in some household activities and talk to her like grown up and not baby talks.. We women can talk on anything and everything 😁.. All the best.

Hi,

Kids this age might have learned fragments of dozens of words that may not be able to communicate well if they are not getting around to talking due to lack of environment with intraction. They will progress quickly only if you can give him that space to interact. Read aloud, read stories ,sing along. Or there are lots of stories listening app ,download one like HeyCloudy.
