At this age children, are often fussy and they are more inclined to choose activities that involve moving around rather than sitting in one place.
- You need to provide your daughter with a wide variety of options for food. This includes oats, fruits, vegetables, eggs, yoghurt, rice, sandwiches and milk. A combination of different ingredients will enable you to know your daughter's preference.
- You should try to teach your daughter to feed herself. She is more inclined to be interested in participating in activities that promote independence.
- Set seat at the table for her with the rest of the family. This way she will be able to observe how the whole family eats and can also feel like a part of the family.
- Avoid bringing chips, biscuits, chocolates, candies and namkeen to your house. This way she doesn't have the option to eat all these things. You should try to give her three proper meals in the day and opt for 3 snacks as well. These should ideally be different types of fruits.
Remember this is only a phase and with time you will notice your daughter will slowly have her own favourites with what she likes to eat. Make eating interesting, by giving her different food at different meal times as well as in her favourite dishes.
