How To Make My Child Eat Well?

While it can be difficult for you to decide what to cook for your little one , it can be equally cumbersome to make sure that your child eats well. Some measures that can be taken to get your baby to take proper diet are:
Set a Schedule
Plan your little one's eating routine by giving her meals every three to four hours a day. This way she will be less cranky while eating since she won't be famished anymore. It will also improve her eating habits and will make her diet more nutritious.
Change the menu gradually
If your little one does not like eating what is served to her, do not change the menu immediately.Make small changes in the meals day by day so that she doesn't get into the habit of demanding a new variety daily. While doing so, do not forget to include her old favourite dishes.
Do not force your child.
Do not force your child to eat more than she wants to and don't help her unless she actually asks for it. This way your child will learn her dining lessons.
Make eating an enjoyable task for your kid by preparing creative meals like smiling pancakes, differently shaped parantha or foods with a variety of colours in it.
Lead by example.
Children learn a lot from what they see their parents doing. If you are constantly on a diet or have erratic eating habits, your child will consider that this kind of behaviour is normal and will naturally learn to behave in the same manner. Be honest with yourself and take regular, timely meals.
Don't be harsh on your child when she refuses to eat properly. Deal with her patiently, talking to her about the importance of taking a balanced diet and how it will benefit her. This way you'll reap positive results faster.
