first make sure why she dont want to eat . what is the reason behind that.either food is not as per her choice or may be she is having problem to intake the food u r giving .some babies very lazy to eat .dont give her a lot of food in one time .give some some food in many intervals. try different type of foods.also give fruits etc .
At this age children tend to be highly fussy and stubborn especially when it comes to eating food. Some tips to try:
- Give her a wide variety of options to eat food from. Try fruits, vegetables, oats, rice, lentils, yoghurt, cheese, eggs, cereals and milk. Try different combinations of this various ingredients.
- Teach your daughter how to eat herself. Children enjoy activities that they can do independently.
- Do not allow her to eat while watching TV or play games while eating as this distracts her while eating. Make eating an activity.
- Prepare a place for her at the table so that she can observe how other members eat food.
It is vital for you to stay calm and approach your daughter with patience. If she doesn't eat big meals, give her a few small meals during the day. There is no need to worry as after a little while this phase will pass.
