Baby will gain weight slowly through your breast milk and proper sleep.
For me I used rice water for low milk production. For this extract water while cooking from rice and immediately take out after first boiling .
Protein foods ,leafy vegetables, and sesame seeds, papaya and fenugreek seeds, bottle guard and paneer,pulses increase your breast milk.
Eat daily stomach full include with above food. Drink plenty of water. Take buttermilk also.
Dairy products are good sources for protein and calcium. So eat daily 1egg ,paneer, and milk.
Try all home remedies. And consult again your gynecologist.
Latch ur baby frequently....For increasing bm supply take more fluids in diet... Green leafy veggies, , dryfruits, , ,,have milk twice a day and add 1 spoon roasted jeera in milk... Eat moong daal or u can add mashed roti in it with little ghee....add 1 spoon ghee in every food.... If bm is not sufficient for baby then try these remedies... And as u said baby is weak bcoz of insufficient bm supply then Once meet paediatric they will suggest u any good fm which suits to ur baby....but keep giving bm till 6months if possible..
