Avoid bottles as it can cause lisp also in future. You can use dropper instead of spoon. I am sure your baby will take the dropper milk. Let me know if it worked
Bottle feeding is as safe as you can maintain hygiene. Make sure bottles are always washed & sterilized before every use, check for any damage before offering a bottle to your baby. Try to use anti-colic bottles and prepare FM exactly as per the recommended ratio.

Gagandeep paani ko ubaal lo and den gas band kar do. 5 min dropper daalke nikal do. It's done
And for every feed I wash the bottle with Pigeon's liquid cleanser and then finally wash with warm water.
Bottle is safe as long as u sterilize it properly. Use feeding bottle cleanser liquid to wash bottle and other accessories. Keep separate vessel, cup, spoon, etc to prepare formula. Sterilize those things also. Mee mee liquid cleanser is gud. Immediately wash d bottle after feeding.
Hi , I have a problem that my 13 month old baby do not feed with bottle .I m trying since he was 6 month old but he used to either mother feeding or with spoon ..but some tim it is not easy ..like in travelling. ...what should I do
If you are using bottles then get an electric steriliser. It is very important to sterilise bottles and teats before each feed to maintain hygiene. Getting an electric steriliser would ensure hygiene and also eases up your workload. My doctor made me promise that I'd get a steriliser before he signed the discharge sheet. :p
Damage could mean wear and tear to teats and bottles. See if there are any cuts on teats before you feed baby. Cuts in silicone teats can be sharp and may hurt baby. It's better to replace teats every 3 months and bottles after every 6 months.
To avoid ear infections, keep your baby in upright position when you feed him. prolonged use of bottles and pacifiers may lead to baby getting a lisp but it can also happen in thumb sucking babies.
Your priority should be the health and well being of your baby. Getting less feed would make the baby dehydrated and no to mention cranky. You can combine bottle and spoon feeding till he adjusts? In the meantime, try to offer your breasts too. By the time he's 6 months old, you can offer semi solids with spoon and gradually reduce the use of bottles.
