Consult a dr. As this age weight is very less..give her a testy food..increase amount of ghee or jaggery in her diet
yes.. i have consulted the doctor. He has prescribed iron and vitamin D syrup daily.
Honestly I do not want to wean her completely as BM keeps her immune from various infections. But the problem is I am a working woman. And I am on leave right now just to take care of her. I want to fix timings for BF. Like 2 times in day and one or 2 times at night. And that can be possible. only when she takes other foods and vice versa. But she is very cranky. I tried bottle at night but she recognize it and starts crying.
Here's a gentle weaning method to try: Finely chop a clove of garlic. Put chopped garlic and a tablespoon of olive oil in a small bowl. Let this sit for a few hours. Strain out the garlic. The oil should have a strong garlic odor. Put the oil on nipples. My 2-year-old would ask to nurse and then tell me I was stinky and refuse. She'd check a few times a day, and lo and behold I was still smelly. I reapplied twice a day for about four days and then she stopped asking.
I also trying yo wean off my son. But my breasts became so hard and painful . what can I do?
Try increasing the gap between feedings. Do not wean off suddenly. Like 3-4 feeds in 24 hours time continuously for a week.. Then 2 feedings a day.. eg one at night and one time in day. Breast supply will decrease automatically and you will not feel any discomfort.
First you go with Moog daal paste with little salt and haldi
