You can start with non - vegetarian meals by 7 - 8 months of age. Make sure all the meat is cooked really well before serving it to your daughter. Try to avoid too much or oil, salt and spices. Boiled meat can be mixed well with other food and served to her.
My daughter was 2yrs old and she was an pretty mature baby she can't eat the mash food like rice etc we gave her blended food in mixing machine. But I want that she took her meal as a normal way. For this what should I do. And yes she was very low weight also. I am very worried for her?
Your daughter should be having food of a solid consistency at this age. If your baby has a good number of teeth semi-solid foods are no longer required.
You need to add chunks of fruit in oats or rice to promote movement of her jaw and strengthen those muscles. Some pieces of veggies can also be added to rice. Carrots and cucumbers can be given as finger foods so that your baby can hold them and chew on them. Eventually, she will learn how to use her teeth and move her mouth to bite into foods and swallow them.
