Hi apply neem paste on nipple before feeding and when the baby is hungry offer that and on other side keep milk in Katori and spoon and feed when baby demands
Expecting a sudden change would be too much, though some children do wean-off on their own. My daughter is 15 months now and I am managed to wean off completely in 3 months. You will need to start off slowly and need involvement of your partner to make this easier. Start by not nursing your baby till she sleeps, but just before she doses off - when she's breathing heavy & eyes closed. Let your partner be next to the baby as well. Try this for a few days till your baby gets used to it. Then move to the next stage where you feed her and be next to her in the bed but don't BF. Story telling or lullaby can help. Again this will have to be done for some days. Eventually, your partner should be able to take your baby to bed. Also, try to give your baby dinner atleast 1-1:30 hours before bed time, and then let her play & run around so she digests some of her food. When she starts looking tiered & sleepy, give her a bottle of warm milk to take to bed. This works for me most days now. You will have to be very consistent with the approach, as the baby is used to sleeping on your breast for a very long time and it will take time to changes her habit. Try and share your feedback if this helps!!
