Please check in with another pediatrician, especially if it is worse and doesn't improve at all during the day.
Do consult with your pediatrician. If it seems that your child is suffering excessively as a consequence of any illness, checking in with your doctor is ideal. Give more fruits, some rest, plenty of fluids, warm soup and steams inhalation. These are just some simple things to help in cough and cold.
You can give your child everything. Opt for more fruits and veggies, as this helps to give a boost to your child's immunity. Soups, warm liquids, plenty of rest and some steam inhalation also works wonders.
Please consult your pediatrician. Ideally at this age, attempting home remedies is not recommended, since your child is really young.
At this age, the best thing to do is to take your child to a pediatrician. Attempting medications at home is not advisable at this age.
Simple things like steam inhalation, drinking more water, soups, fruits, and veggies all help with a boost in immunity and also help with the cold and cough. You can try taking tablet sinarest 2 - 3 times a day for your cold. As for your child taking to a pediatrician would be the better option as medications are not suitable without a prescription.
