If the fever is high please consult your pediatrician. Try to give your baby some steam to inhale. This helps to clear out any congestion. Continue breastfeeding, and attempt it in a more upright position as it helps to clear out mucus. Also, drink plenty of fruits and veggies.
Try to drink plenty of fluids, give your child plenty of fruits and veggies, try to keep a humidifier in your baby's room. Most of these cold and cough can be due to changes in the temperature and onset of monsoon season. Avoid keeping your baby exposed to the cold and also changing of temperatures. Slight cold is perfectly fine and often subsides on its own after a while.
