Hi that's normal, give milk every 2 hrly and on demand and sleeping pattern differs in every baby and will vary till age of six months after that It will become constant gradually thus don't worry
Try having skin to skin contact with your baby while putting him to sleep, this should put him at some ease. Before that feed the baby and burp him by patting on his back so that he doesn't feel pain due to gas. Check his nappies and change them so that he isn't in discomfort. Lie with him in a quiet room with no or very dim lights to sleep.
Even he sleeps, Just hold him in vertical position for 5 to 10 mins and Pat on back.
This is completely normal. It is possible that it is the dreams that are disturbing him. If your baby quietens down after a while then there is nothing to be concerned about. Talking in sleep is also normal. Many children and even adults do it. Try to comfort your baby when he wakes up. Avoid startling him or forcing him to wake up. Let his natural rhythm wake him up.
How many naps does he take and of what intervals?
Crying could indicate that your child is hungry. Please do try to feed your child every time your child starts crying. Sometimes babies just want to be comforted or held by their parents. Another thing to check for is a wet or soiled nappy that might require changing.
Around this age, your son should ideally sleep for 10 - 12 hours. If she gets this much amount of sleep at night this is normal. Children, as they grow older, tend to sleep for fewer hours. You need to ensure that she is active throughout the day and receives enough of nutrition. Do not make her sit in front of the TV. It is best to indulge her in activities, which involves him moving around, playing and using his brain. Such activities stimulate your child and make them more tired and inclined to take naps during the day. The main thing to do is to maintain sleep hygiene. Make a schedule of the activities your daughter should be doing during the day. Allot nap times as well and soon she will get accustomed to this. All naps should be before 4 pm in the evening. Avoid heavy meals close to bedtime, as well as exposure to electronic devices.
