Looks like baby is jus 8 months old...
At this age,almost syrups only will be given by the Paediatrician...
If it is not suggested by your Dr,don't give...
And regarding milk,
Now you can add pediasure or junior Horlicks in milk...
You can avoid sugar,add homemade palm jaggery syrup or honey or dates syrup...
