hello, i have 12 month baby and he is not ready to take a single bite or peice of any eatable in his mouth since i started to give him solid food. now he is lacking iron. somehow i forcefully feed him with some veg purees or khichdi or dal but keep on crying while eating.what to do.. doctor said he shoule be given same food as you so he might likes but he takes only 2 or 3 bites of what we eat. ..so his tummy remains empty… what to do.. only my breastfeeding is his source…

Hi Prabhjot, You have to give different options. Probably the flavour of the food made at home doesn’t appeal to your child. You have to try new recipes. You should make your son sit with you and eat. This will help to observe how the family eat. Children do not like being forced to eat. But if you make them sit with others, then they are more inclined to follow what others do.
If you feel that she is not eating at all then you need to consult with paediatrician and ask for supplements for such deficiencies.
